Buddy Leach has spent his career in service to Oklahoma's panhandle communities. Appointed District Attorney by Governor Stitt in September 2021, he previously served as First Assistant District Attorney for nearly two decades, beginning in 2003.
A graduate of Oklahoma City University School of Law, Leach began his legal career as a partner at Boring and Leach Attorneys at Law, where he practiced from 1985 to 2002. His dedication to the profession has been recognized with the Professional Advocate Award and the Region Five Prosecutor of the Year distinction.
Raised in the panhandle and committed to its future, Leach brings a deep understanding of the region's values and the people who call it home.
